The Visual Art League (“VAL”) and the Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater invite students to apply for exhibition space in the beautiful MCL Grand in November of this year as well as in 2017. Single- or multiple-art student shows are possible in the 2,000 sq ft gallery (264 linear feet of display space) or in the north corridor, which has 71 linear feet of display space.
Family-friendly art of all types may be displayed in either space although large sculptures cannot be displayed in the corridor because of pedestrian traffic.

Students who are selected to exhibit in either space will be expected to handle all aspects of the installation and removal of their art although VAL and the MCL Grand staff are available for advice and assistance. Receptions, advertising, and promotion of the student shows will also be the responsibility of the participating artists. Multiple-student shows must be arranged by the students as well i.e., the students should agree to propose a show together.
Students wishing to apply for the available exhibition spaces and dates should send an email to the Visual Art League at visualartleage@outlook.com, describing the show(s) being proposed with images of representative pieces in the proposed show. Applications for 2017 must be received by November 1, 2016 in order to be eligible for consideration.
