Graduate Student Exhibitions opportunity

The Toulouse Graduate School is proud to announce the UNT Graduate Exhibition which will celebrate research in all its aspects as an essential and exciting part of graduate education at the University of North Texas.

Deadline: Monday, February 4 at 3:00 p.m.
Note: $500 awards!!!

The Graduate Exhibition places special emphasis on communicating research and creative endeavor to a general audience and offers an unusual opportunity for professional development by challenging graduate students to present their work in clear, comprehensible terms to people outside their fields.

The Graduate Exhibition is also an opportunity for students to see themselves as part of the larger University community, to share our creativity, and to appreciate the breadth of quality research being done at the University of North Texas. Graduate students in doctoral, MFA, and MA programs are invited to participate. (I believe that the forms currently do not include MA students as eligible, but as of today—Jan. 29—MA students are welcome and encouraged to participate.)

The Graduate Exhibition includes music performances, visual arts and digital display, and poster exhibits by students about their research and scholarship. The entries will be judged and top awards in each category will receive $500. (Currently, the Graduate Exhibition site does not tell you about the awards, but there will be awards and prize money given.) All events will be free and open to the public.

Other good news is that the Graduate School will pay for the printing of the posters submitted to the exhibition as long as the posters are submitted by Friday, Feb. 8. By doing this, there will be no additional cost to the student for participating. You and your students may find more information about this opportunity under the Frequently Asked Questions tab.

Deadline for submission is Monday, Feb. 4th at 3:00 p.m. We hope our students will enter and represent CVAD well.
