Reception: Saturday, January 27 at 6 PM - 9 PM

Gallery 414 and guest curator Barbara Koerble present Centering Abstraction, an art exhibition featuring North Texas artists Lael Burns, Sophia Ceballos, Gwen Meharg and Adam Palmer. Centering Abstraction opens Saturday, January 27 with a reception for the artists from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. This exhibition runs through Sunday, February 25, 2018.
The artists work in a variety of media, but drawing is at the core of their practice. Layering of media is also utilized in many of the artworks. In the context of this exhibition, the artists have used abstraction as a centering device with which they have given voice to their varied artistic expressions.
Gallery 414 is located at 414 Templeton Street, Fort Worth, TX and is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 pm, and weekdays by appointment. www.gallery414.org 817-336-6595
