The Graduate Pathways exhibition will showcase select graduate student work from University of North Texas, Texas Christian University, University of Texas at Arlington, and Texas Woman’s University. This exhibition strives to inspire future graduates from Tarrant County College Northwest to start their path to higher education in Visual Arts. Through their artwork and artist talk, graduate students can share their experiences with our students considering their options in the Visual Art field.

Reception and Artist Talk
Artists be asked to give a 10-15 minute talk during the closing exhibit. Artists should introduce themselves, discuss the individual pieces, and share the creative process with an emphasis on overcoming creative and design challenges. Please let Christian know if you are interested.
Dates
Submissions due: Friday, 12/1/17
Selection of Exhibitors: Monday, 12/4/17
Notification to Exhibitors: Tuesday, 12/5/17
Installation: Friday – Saturday, 1/19/18 - 1/20/18
Reception: depending on artist’s availability
De-installation: Friday – Saturday, 2/16/18– 2/17/18
Available Space/Equipment
Lakeview Gallery at Northwest campus has four large walls and a dozen pedestals that are available for displays. Please mention any hardware or media needs in your submission proposal. Hardware for hanging painted/print materials will be available. A layout of Lakeview Gallery is attached. Please note that this gallery can be entered from 4 directions.
Curators will work with artists to organize show installation. Traditional gallery labels will be made for each of the pieces presented. Additional labeling will be left to the presenters.
Artist Stipend
A $150 stipend will go to each invited artist.
