The University of North Texas Printmaking area is
pleased to announce the exhibition of prints entitled Pulp from the
Advanced Printmaking Studio course, displayed in the Cora Stafford Gallery. The
exhibition will be open from March 22 to 25, 2017. A reception will take place at the Cora Stafford
Gallery on March 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Pulp will display recent work from
undergraduate first and second semester capstone printmaking studio students. This collection
will display the versatile qualities of printmaking as well as cover a wide
range of topics such as social commentary and personal narratives. The types of
printmaking media represented in the show will include intaglio, lithography,
relief, screen print, monoprint, mixed media, and other various works on paper.
Each student will
be showing a small selection of pieces through which their body of work will be
represented. The undergraduate student participants include Christin
Clemons, Samuel Cowan, Jessica Gengenbach, JayMee Hart, Maya Joubert, Xiao Liu, Samarpan (Sam) Maharjan, Grady McConnell, and Cameron Tanner.
