This just in from Texas Tech University:
We have been coordinating Beyond Printmaking, a national juried/curated exhibition that focuses on experimental and hybrid printmaking practices. After four successful Beyond Printmaking exhibits, we are expanding our program to include a print symposium, BP5.The print symposium will include exhibitions, panel, print fair, print demo and steamroller printing. These events will be held at Texas Tech school of art, LHUCA (art center), and Charles Adams Studio Project gallery & print studio. We think these events will provide participants with a well-rounded experience and educational goals in printmaking.
We would like to invite you to participate in BP5 Symposium. All the events are free for registered at- tendees, including a free dinner party Saturday night. While geographical locations are not limitations, we expect seeing many regional participants coming from Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. If this goes well, we hope there will be additional BP Symposiums hosted by other institutions as well as ours.
We are hoping you would come and also bring your students to attend the symposium. We have partici- patory events such as steamroller printing and print fair.
