Entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM CST on Wednesday, July 6th.
All ages are encouraged to submit their original ideas. Everyone that submits a design will be automatically entered to win one 3-day pass to Oaktopia.
The winning design will be printed on a limited edition run of t-shirts that will be available for sale at our merch store during the festival. The winner will also receive:
• two 3-day tickets to the festival
• a free t-shirt with their winning design
• props on the Oaktopia website and through our social media
Submission Guidelines
• Design text must include #Oaktopia
• Design cannot contain more than four solid colors.
• No racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, culturally-inappropriate or otherwise discriminatory designs will be accepted.
• Submissions must fit within 8.5" x 11" @ 300 dpi.
• Submissions must be either PDF or JPEG files only, but the winner may be required to submit an .eps or .ai file.
• Send all entries to: TshirtDesign@Oaktopia.News using "T-Shirt Design Contest" in the subject line. Please include your name and phone number with your submission.
• Submissions will be accepted by email only.
• Submit your entry no later than 11:59 PM CST on July 6, 2016.
Rules for Entry
• Artwork must be original. No part of the artwork should be copied from a design created or owned by someone else.
• One design limit per entry.
• By submitting your design, you are granting Oaktopia a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of your artwork. Oaktopia expects that the primary uses of your design will be to publicize the design for marketing and voting purposes and to print the design on merchandise to be sold.
• The prize for winning the contest is not redeemable for cash value.
• Winner may be asked to make alterations if their design does not match the screen printer's requirements.
The Selection Process
The Oaktopia team will select their top five entries, share them online (OaktopiaFest.com | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram), and open the voting process on July 11, 2016. Voting will end on July 21, 2016 at 11:59 PM CST. Winner (to be announced July 22, 2016) will be selected based on the entry with the most votes/likes across all of Oaktopia's social channels.
