The MFAH internship and fellowship program aims to provide specialized training and career readiness for undergraduate and graduate students, fostering the next generation of museum professionals and active community partners. MFAH interns and fellows gain first-hand experience working on one or more meaningful projects under the guidance of staff mentors. Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship Program and Summer Academy
The Summer Academy is a one-week intensive program consisting of: June 5-11, 2016 Application deadline: Friday, March 11 The Andrew W. Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship Program and Summer Academy aim to provide specialized training in the curatorial field for students across the United States from diverse backgrounds. Behind-the-scenes art museum tours Exhibition visits with MFAH curators Workshops with art museum professionals Accommodations, lunches, program supplies, and a per diem of $350 ($50/day) are provided to the 15 students selected to participate in the program. Upon completion of the Summer Academy, two participants are awarded the Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship, which includes a generous stipend of $10,000 per year.
