"Philigrafika 2010’s" exhibition catalogue, The Graphic Unconscious, can be divided into two parts: current print rhetoric and contemporary print reference. Event organizers initiate the catalogue with writings regarding the conception of "Philigrafika 2010," and then move on to discuss the pertinent contemporary printmaking issues that drove the event. One of the most focused-upon concepts of the exhibition, written about by Sheryl Conkelton, was the topic of print and the public sphere. Interviews with artists and art groups participating in the multivenue exhibition follow the aforementioned essays, anchoring the intellectual writings with straightforward documentary-style imagery. Overall, the catalogue provides multifaceted insight into an incredibly complex exhibition.
