first annual Ladies of Letterpress conference welcomes all lovers of letterpress to Asheville, North Carolina, August 5 through 7, 2011. We are pleased to welcome some of the best practitioners, teachers, and experimenters working in the field today. The conference will include panel discussions, demonstrations, tours, and plenty of time to socialize, talk printing, and explore beautiful Asheville.
is an international community of commercial, fine-press, and zine printers. Our mission is to promote the art and craft of letterpress printing and to encourage the voice and vision of women printers. We strive to maintain the cultural legacy of fine press printing and to advance letterpress as a living, contemporary art form as well as a viable commercial printing method. Anyone is welcome to join, and membership is 100% free.
