UNT Special Collections Librarian Courtney Jacobs visited our Artist Books course Monday, October 31st. She used Special Collections materials and tools to talk to the students about type design, type casting, and imposition format during the hand-press era. In addition to Courtney's talk students got a brief explanation on typesetting and letterpress printing with equipment from Syd Webb's 4 Acre Press.
