Current UNT Printmaking Graduate Student, Kayla Seedig hosted
a workshop at University of North Carolina at Pembroke, September 26-30, 2016. While
there Seedig gave two lectures for introductory & advanced level printmaking
classes, a monotype demo, a photopolymer demo, and a mixed media drawing demo.
Participants learned how to expose, process, wipe, and print
KM73 Intaglio plates. Through her demonstration and assistance, they produced 40
monoprints, using two separate image plates and monotype processes.
Kayla was awarded a Student Project Award through CVAD and the Visual Art League of Lewisville. These funds made purchasing materials, traveling, and her research possible.
