Jeffrey Dell, Visiting Artist, 9/27


Join us next Tuesday, September 27 from 8:30 a.m to 9:30 a.m in Hickory Hall 160 (Print Shop) for an Open Portfolio and Artist's Talk by Visiting Artist Jeffrey Dell. This event is open to the UNT community. 

Mr. Dell is working with Printmaking students and interns at P.R.I.N.T on a new edition that will be complete in spring 2017.

Mr. Dell is a printmaker and Professor at Texas State University-San Marcos.

Biography: Jeffrey Dell

Currently the head of Printmaking at Texas State University, Jeffrey Dell grew up near Portland, Oregon. He received his BA in Studio Art, specializing in ceramics, from Hamline University and an MFA in Printmaking at the University of New Mexico. He served as a Fellow at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice, Italy, and he has also taught in with summer programs with Indiana University, Pratt Institute, and the University of Iowa.

 A renowned artist, Mr. Dell has exhibited in Italy, Germany, Philadelphia, and New York. He regularly exhibits at Art Palace Gallery in Houston and at Galleri Urbane in Dallas and Marfa. Recently, his work has featured in two issues of Art in Print magazine, New American Painting, and on the following blogs: People of Print; Booooooom; Printeresting; The Jealous Curator; and It's Nice That. His work has been exhibited at The Print Center in Philadelphia and the International Print Center New York.
