TASA Conference Opportunities


The TASA 2014 conference will take place Oct. 23 - 25 at the Omni Hotel in Dallas.

The conference attendance/membership fee for students is $25 ($5 for TASA membership and $20 for the conference.) Students will be fed lunch on Friday and Saturday, see lectures and attend workshops, as well as having the option to enter the "one square foot" exhibition at El Centro College.

This year we are bringing in Diego Leclery and Pedro Velez, both Whitney Biennial 2014 artists, and Sabina Ott, Chicago artist and curator. Our keynote this year is Terry Allen and Trenton Doyle Hancock will be around Thursday night for a scholarship fundraiser. Also, our very own Margaret Meehan received the Paul Hanna Lecture award and will be discussing her recent work made at ArtPace.
