UNT Printmaking at MAPC

MAPC Open Portfolio Sessions
UNT Printmaking was well represented at the 2012 Mid America Print Council conference, which took place at the Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri from 1 – 3 November.

Ashley Milow at Open Portfolio
Assistant Professor Andrew DeCaen showed his work in the Open Portfolio sessions, as did current graduate students Luke Ball, Preston Bradley and Christopher Wallace. Alumni Ashley Milow and Mark Raymer also participated.

Associate Professor Lari Gibbons, who co-edits The MAPC Journal, participated in the Abecedaria theme portfolio exhibition and was a panelist in "Selling Out?"

Alumna Kristine Joy Mallari represented Gamblin Artists Color in the Vendor's Fair.

Bumpit Mafia theme portfolio
Current MFA candidate Linda Santana and alumna Cat Snapp curated Bumpit Mafia (with Coco Rico of the University of Dallas), which appeared in the themed portfolio exhibitions.

A work published by P.R.I.N.T Press was included in the Tribal Diversity: Juane Quick-to-See Smith and Neal Ambrose-Smith exhibition at the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum.
