UNT Printmakers in Current


The University of North Texas College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) presents its annual water conservation exhibit, Current, which seeks to further the awareness of an individual’s environmental impact on the water supply of the north Texas region. Works in this exhibition were created by UNT MFA candidates to kick-off Earth Day festivities at the school.

Participating artists: Naomi S. Adams, Karen Arzamendi, Valerie Banes, Michael Blair, Laura H. Drapac, Christopher Engebretson, Jason Hyde, Clyde (Shuhei Igarashi), Adam Palmer, Calina C. Shevlin, Cecila Ann McClain-Shikle, Cat Snapp, Weasun Song, Blayre Stiller, and Giovanni Valderas.

When: exhibit runs from April 4, 2011 through April 8, 2011 with a reception on April 5, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The Elm Fork Education Center hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Where: Elm Fork Education Center in the Environmental Education, Science and Technology Building on the northwest corner of Avenue C and West Mulberry, 1704 W. Mulberry St. on the UNT Denton campus.
