Juergen Strunck Visiting Artist

On October 16 Juergen Strunck came to our studios to create several unique works on paper using multicolor blend rolls and geometric stencils.  Our MFA and BFA students worked as his assistants.  Juergen made his demonstrations during the relief print class, and later gave a presentation talking about  his creative development of his non-objective works on paper.

 

Juergen charges a graduated blend before rolling out the color onto the relief plate.

 

Juergen carefully removes the stencil from the paper after printing.

Professor Strunck is a Professor of Art and Head of Printmaking at the University of Dallas.
